Fall in the Midwest

Last Saturday we decided to take advantage of the lowering gas prices and drive to Ludington, Michigan. It took us just under two hours each way. We passed hundreds of miles of dense deciduous forests. It was a really nice day that made us feel a lot more at home in the midwest.

Camera for Stephen

A couple posts ago I introduced my new friend Stephen Hamidu from Nigeria. Stephen and I were talking the other day about how nice it would be if he could send some pictures to his family.

I got to thinking that a digital camera would be something he could really use during his time at seminary. And since I know that we all like upgrading our stuff some of the readers of this blog might have a digital camera that they don't use very often, if at all. Stephen does have a computer so he could email pictures to his pastor in Nigeria, who could print them and bring them to his wife and kids. So if you can help out, post a comment and I'll send you my address.

Thanks for reading!

My First Blog Post (by Pam)

Today was very exciting, I created my own little business where I sell fun things that I've made. Lately I've been into appliqueing cute little animals and other things of the like onto onesies and tote bags, however I have a feeling that other different items may come in the near future. I see this as an excuse to spend money on my hobbies, and even more reason to spend time doing them.

Check out my Etsy store!

Leave a comment if you can think of anything you want me to put on a onesie.

Thank You Stephen Colbert

This is satire at its best.

This makes me realize how many people are actually involved in fleecing the American public. We blame CEOs for their greed, but marketers are just as much to blame for making commercials that are just as ridiculous as Colbert's parody.
